About the tutor

Hello everyone, my name is Maya. I started to pursue my passion in teaching by undertaking a Master of Teaching (Primary) and completed it in 2021. I had almost 5 years experience working with the Learning and Support team within a primary school and I am currently working as a teacher in a public school. My ultimate goal when working with students is to provide fun and engaging lessons in order to support them in learning, hence to meet the expectations or even go beyond that. My experience as School Learning and Support Officer taught me that every student has their own learning style and grow at their own pace. My role, as a tutor, is to listen to my students' needs and tailor my lessons to suit them. I have sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and evidence-based practice. I have a passion in working with students at different levels and help them grow. I am looking forward to working with and supporting you.
